As a non-profit school DIG strives to graduate debt free students. If a student is struggling with finances while attending school, there are options available to investigate.

Soil2Service – as the operating nonprofit parent entity of DIG, scholarships and grants are frequently offered to help students at DIG.

Michigan Works Offices – DIG is an approved program under the Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act (WIOA) in the state of Michigan. Student’s may qualify for tuition assistance by contacting their local Michigan Works Office.

Private Loans – Students may qualify for a personal loan. Many financial institutions offer personal loans at competitive interest rates. While this may not be ideal, it offers a solution to help bridge financial gaps.

DIG is licensed in the State of Michigan as a non-profit, proprietary post-secondary education provider and recognized as a Registered Apprentice Program with the US-Department of Labor.

The Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) is recognized as an accrediting organization through the Council of Higher Education Administration (CHEA)/United States Department of Education. DIG has earned institutional accreditation along with both the Culinarian and the Sous Chef Apprenticeship Programs, earning programmatic accreditation.
